Narrative
PASSAIC, NJ – One person died Saturday morning at the scene of a two-vehicle collision along a state highway in Passaic.
The incident happened around 1:25 a.m. on the northbound side of Route 21 near Exit 7, which is just west of Passaic County Community College and south of Armory Park.
Police have not yet commented on the cause of the accident. They say that one of the two vehicles caught fire following the crash and that one person died.
Authorities have not released the name of the victim, and no other injuries have been referenced in connection with the accident.
An investigation is underway.
