Narrative
Medics transported a 13-year-old male pedestrian to the hospital on Wednesday after a car struck him in the roadway in Jersey City. The incident happened on Bergen Avenue near the Joseph H. Brensinger Public School 17. Police say the teen was crossing the street at the time of the collision. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene of the accident and spoke with authorities. The teen sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover.
