NEWARK, NJ – A Keyport man died on Saturday after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in Newark.
The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. at exit 14 southbound on the New Jersey Turnpike. This is on the east side of the city.
Police say that the 37-year-old motorcyclist was riding along the exit 14 ramp when he collided with a truck hauling a trailer.
The motorcyclist, identified as Ryan E. Schmalz, died at the scene of the accident.
No other injuries have been reported in connection to the accident.
