Narrative
MORRISTOWN, NJ – Crews worked to clear logs from the interstate Wednesday after a logging truck crashed in southeast Morris County.
The incident involved multiple vehicles and happened around 8 p.m. on I-287 northbound in Morristown.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a semi-truck driver lost control of his vehicle, at which point the big rig overturned along the interstate, spilling lumber.
Multiple ancillary crashes occurred as a result of the initial wreck, but police say that only minor injuries have been reported.
A full investigation is underway.
