Narrative
PEMPBERTON TWP, NJ – A man and woman died, and another man went to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision along Pemberton Bypass in Pemberton Township.
The incident happened Tuesday afternoon near on the eastbound side of Pemberton Bypass near Colemans Bridge Road.
Police say that a 39-year-old female driver lost control of her eastbound vehicle and struck a guardrail, at which point she re-entered the roadway and veered into the westbound lane where a second vehicles hit her car.
Bothe the driver and passenger of the first vehicle died at the scene. Authorities identified them as Jennifer Loiacano-Whealton and Patrick Stout.
Medics airlifted the driver of the second vehicle to the hospital with critical injuries.
