Narrative
BERLIN, NJ – A bicyclist went to the hospital early Monday morning after a vehicle struck them at a busy intersection in Berlin.
The collision happened around 5 a.m. near the intersection of White Horse Pike and South Franklin Avenue, which is just northwest of Berlin Cemetery.
It’s not yet clear how the collision occurred. Police say that the vehicle that struck the cyclist did remain at the scene to render aid and speak to authorities.
Officials closed all lanes of White Horse Pike for multiple hours while crews investigated and responded to the scene.
