SEWELL, NJ – Three people went to the hospital early Saturday morning after a two-vehicle DUI crash at a busy intersection in Sewell.
The incident happened just after 1 a.m. at the intersection of Egg Harbor Rd and Mount Pleasant Road, which is just south of Olde Stone House Historic Village.
The investigation thus far indicates that a westbound vehicle, driven by 25-year-old Daq Cole, struck the side of a northbound 2017 Toyota Tacoma.
The force of the collision caused the Toyota to roll, entrapping at least one person.
Medics transported both drivers and one passenger to local hospitals for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.
Cole faces charges of DWI and assault with an auto.
The investigation is ongoing.
