JERSEY CITY, NJ – One person died Friday, and two others were hospitalized after a crash involving a semi and a passenger vehicle in Jersey City.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. on the underpass of the Jersey Turnpike near John F. Kennedy Boulevard, which is east of the Hackensack River and west of the Holland Tunnel.
It’s not yet clear what caused the accident, but police say a passenger vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler and overturned.
One person died after transport to the hospital, and the other two sustained unspecified injuries.
