Narrative
HAMILTON TWP., NJ – An 18-year-old driver lost his life and three passengers were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Route 40 in Hamilton Township on Sunday.
The driver. Jamyre Dewey Jr. from Egg Harbor City, was heading east in Hamilton Township at approximately 7:55 p.m. when his vehicle veered over the center line, colliding with a westbound SUV.
Dewey suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Two 18-year-old passengers were critically injured and airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, while a 17-year-old occupant was taken to the hospital via ambulance.
The other driver involved, a 66-year-old Pennsylvania man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
