Narrative
FORT LEE, NJ – A fiery crash on the New Jersey Turnpike overnight Sunday claimed the lives of two individuals.
Troopers say the crash occurred when a Jeep rear-ended a Plymouth at about 12:08 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the Turnpike near the George Washington Bridge.
Both occupants of the Plymouth were pronounced dead a short time later. Their identities are being withheld pending further investigation.
