Narrative
Two drivers were injured when a passenger vehicle cut in front of a semitruck, causing the truck to hit several structures and drive off the side of Route 202 on Feb. 17th. When the smaller car cut in front of the semitruck at 6:40p.m., the truck driver attempted to avoid the car by going to the right. However, the car was still hit as well as a utility pole and a billboard. The truck then slid down a small hill and fell on its side. It was about 75 feet from the road. The truck driver was then rescued from the truck and was sent to Capital Health Regional Medical Center. No update has been provided regarding the condition of this driver. The driver of the passenger vehicle was hospitalized at Hunterdon Medical Center. The Raritan Rescue Squad, Hunterdon County Hazardous Materials Response Team, Whitehouse Rescue Squad, Hunterdon Medical Center MICU EMS-1, and Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company all responded to the crash.
