Narrative
An adult pedestrian died Tuesday when a vehicle struck them in the middle of a busy highway in north Pleasantville. The incident happened around 6 p.m. near exit 5 on the eastbound side of the Atlantic City Expressway, which is just northwest of US-9. The pedestrian died at the scene of the accident. Police say the driver of the vehicle remained on site and cooperated with law enforcement. Authorities have not yet publicly identified the victim. A full investigation is underway.
