Narrative
Medics transported an elderly woman to the hospital on Monday after a postal truck struck her in a parking lot in Newark. The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. in the area of 255 Tucker Avenue, which is just east of Bicentennial Park. The investigation indicates that the driver of a mail truck accidentally struck the pedestrian while backing up in the parking lot. Authorities identified the victim as 93-year-old Eva Naidanovich.
