Narrative
One person went to the hospital Wednesday morning after a two-car collision involving a stolen vehicle in Cranston. The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of South Avenue and High Street. The investigation indicates that the driver of a stolen white Mercedes fled from police after a report of reckless driving. During the pursuit, the driver of the stolen vehicle crashed into a second vehicle. Medics transported the driver of the second vehicle to the hospital with non-critical injuries. Authorities apprehended the driver of the stolen vehicle and charged him for stealing property and eluding police.
